Mo Gawdat is the former Chief Business Officer of Google’s AI division, and his story gives us important insights into the future of artificial intelligence (AI).
During his time at Google, Mo saw firsthand how quickly AI can learn.
One day, he watched robots in a lab teach each other how to pick up an orange ball from millions of options—all in just a lunch break.
After decades of working with AI, Mo realized a major breakthrough had happened.
He left Google and now travels the world, teaching people how to approach the future of AI with open minds and optimism.
Mo shares three key skills we need to learn as AI becomes a bigger part of our daily lives:
1. Use AI Tools: AI isn’t just for tech companies.
Start simple—ask a tool like ChatGPT what AI tools you should know about. Ask ai how to use ai.
For example, I ask, "What tools can help me be more efficient in my marketing consulting? What tools can help me be a better meditation and breathwork ambassador?"
2. Find the Truth: In a world full of headlines and short-form content, it’s easy to be misled.
Headlines are designed to spark emotions, but they rarely tell the whole story.
Get as close to the source as possible—dig deeper, question narratives, and seek the truth.
3. Emphasize Human Connection: As AI becomes more common, human connection will become even more valuable.

Most humans are good. Let’s use AI to prove that.
